Blackjack Pit Clerk

Job Title: Blackjack Pit Clerk (part-time)
Department: Blackjack
Gaming License: Class III
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Blackjack Floor person
$12.36 per hour


Summary
Responsible for quarterly and yearly scheduling, ensuring that staffing levels are determined and accurately conveyed to the Blackjack management. Inputs Dream Sheets and maintains all waiting lists for shifts and days off. Inputs Player Ratings into the Casino Marketplace system.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience working in Blackjack environment strongly preferred.

Computer Skills
Must have good PC skills and a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Other Qualifications
Must possess good communication, writing and math skills. Must have the ability to perform duties in a positive and professional manner. Must demonstrate reliability and flexibility in work schedule which includes working weekends, evenings and holidays when necessary. Superior internal/external customer
service skills required.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employees is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
