SPA ATTENDANT
Job Title: Spa Attendant
Department: Resort Spa Gaming License: 4b FLSA Status: Non-exempt Reports To: Spa Supervisor Starting Pay Rate: $10.30 per hour Summary Provides prompt and efficient service to guests by providing spa tours, distributing necessary amenities, replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness and neatness of all spa areas. Responsible for servicing guest’s needs and maintaining a full knowledge of the Spa facilities, products, and services. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; 1 year experience working in an upscale day spa or hotel resort spa required. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, bend, lean and walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
