Casino Auditor
Job Title: Casino Accounting Auditor
Department: Finance Reports To: Casino Audit Supervisor Starting pay range: $19.06 to $25.20 per hour; depending on prior experience Summary Performs daily audits of gaming (Class II, Class III and non-gaming revenue) and regulatory compliance. The audit consists of daily vault reconciliation, document verification, procedure compliance, and daily report and income journal creation. An audit checklist is used for all audits. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Two year degree in accounting, finance or a related field required; one year accounting experience required; casino audit experience preferred. Must have advanced proficiency using office machines including ten-key and other casino related automated systems. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; MS Word and MS Excel. Other Qualifications Must be able to get along with co-workers and be a team player. Must successfully communicate with multiple levels of management. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must possess the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
