Buffet Stocker-PT

GENERAL SUMMARY
Set up, stock, and clean service stations in the Buffet. Restock Condiments, dry goods, paper goods. Remove soiled China, glassware, and flatware. Restock area with clean China, glassware, and flatware. Restock Soda, Juice, Teas, Hot chocolate, Milk--all offered drinks. Restock Paper Goods including Napkins, Foam cups, lids, straws. Work with Servers to sort Pre bussed items from tables. Deep cleaning assignments- daily, weekly, and end of shift.


FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Stocking of clean china, glassware, and flatware.
•Moving soiled China, glassware, and flatware to the dish room.
•Assisting servers sort pre bussed china, glassware, and flatware.
•Sort china, glassware and flatware
•Stocking of sodas, juices, teas, and condiments.
•Stocking beer and wine in Main Service Area.
•Assisting servers and bussers in their assignments.
•Sweeping and picking up items in Guest service areas
•Service station clean up


ACCOUNTABILITY:
The F&B Stocker position does not have supervisory/managerial responsibilities.


EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Less than high school education; and at least 1 year relative experience is required to successfully perform this job.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers as well as to speak simple sentences. This position also requires the ability to write simple correspondence, routine reports, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Furthermore, this position requires the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. This position also requires the ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Furthermore, this position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: N/A


SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•Must be able to lift a 50 pound buss tub.
•Must have no physical limitations.
•Must be able to stand on feet for an eight hour shift.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
•Lifting, twisting and turning carrying items on a constant basis.
•Work in an enclosed and busy area.
•Constant sorting of dishes, flatware, and glassware.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Special vision requirements include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
