BOX OFFICE MANAGER

Job Title: Box Office Manager

Summary
Responsible for the coordination of activities and staff in the showroom box offices and with ticket sales for the Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort ticketed events in all venues.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position supervises the Box Office Supervisor in the Entertainment Department. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring the completion of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems and managing all aspects of the organizations ticketing system.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; 3+ years experience working in a “supervisory” role in a Box Office; and/or an equivalent combination of related work experience and formal education and/or training.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills. Knowledge of MSWord, Excel and Outlook applications required. Prior ticketing database management system experience such as Ticketmaster is required.

Other Qualifications
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have a sense of urgency towards service delivery and business goals. Must have the ability to work well with others. Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
