Bingo Shift Supervisor

Starting Wage: $15.45 per hour

Summary
The Bingo Shift Supervisor assists the Bingo Lead Supervisor in the hiring, training of staff to ensure the overall efficient operation of the Bingo department.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages the Bingo Floor Clerk, Bingo Cashier, Paper Room Attendant, Paymaster and the Bingo Caller in the Bingo Department and assists the Bingo Manager in responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all Bingo staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, auditioning callers, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Some college or vocational training/education beyond high school is preferred. Two or more years engaged in Bingo operations, one of which must have been in a first level supervisory position, which provided full knowledge of overall Bingo operations. Previous work experience in casino cage operations or in banking environment is desirable.

Computer Skills
Intermediate PC skills required.

* Basic math skills and cash handling experience required.
* Must have strong documentation and organizational skills.
* Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management.
* Must have an upbeat and friendly personality and present a well-groomed appearance.
* Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
