Shuttle Driver Supervisor

Job Title: Shuttle Driver Supervisor
Department: Hotel Front office
Reports To: Lead Valet Supervisor

Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in driving parking lot shuttle carts for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort patrons, guests and employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises the Shuttle Driver in the Valet division of the Hotel. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be, at least, 21 years old. Prior supervisory experience in a Parking Lot or Valet operation required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license. Must have an excellent driving record and be able to submit a current copy of a 39 month Motor Vehicle Report that reflects the following criteria:
* No alcohol/drug related violations (e.g. DUI);
* No reckless driving violations;
* No more than 3 moving violations;
* No more than 2 speeding tickets in excess of 15 miles per hour over the posted speed;
* No more than 2 "at fault" accidents.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic PC skills and knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.

Other Qualifications
Must demonstrate ability to be efficient and courteous while interacting with a large number of guests. Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work individually and as a team player. Must possess general knowledge of parking practices and procedures. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk and run;. Use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; secondary smoke and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
