Project Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Specialist must have strong organizational skills to control the workflow within the Pechanga in-house advertising agency, External agencies, freelance designers and print vendors. Manage work schedules and deadlines for graphics, production and installation, print bids, purchasing, and receiving. Implement print and digital projects for Pechanga Resort & Casino Departments, Pechanga Development Corporation, Pechanga Gaming Commission, as well as Director of Brand & Advertising and Advertising Coordinator in administering the Pechanga Resort & Casino advertising plan.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and prioritize the PRF (Project Request Form) process from all PRC departments for advertising and promotion creative projects.
• Collect and interpret information from all levels of management for the purpose of developing and producing direct mail, promotions, and all on-property initiatives and collateral.
• Communicate with all levels of management to facilitate revisions and approvals of production projects.
• Plan, implement, prioritize, develop and coordinate job tickets, work and delivery schedules for Pechanga advertising department and external vendors.
• Create Request for Proposals (RFP) for printing and production bids.
• Analyze printing and production bids from the RFP process in coordination with the Purchasing Department.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain, monitor and coordinate delivery of final product, within PRC guidelines.
• Schedule and monitor all content for internal plasma streaming displays.
• Monitor PRC website; prepare revisions/updates and copy by gathering and composing information and forwarding to web team in a timely manner for posting.
• Coordinate with the Director of Brand & Advertising and Advertising Coordinator for the content of print ads, and billboards
• Will protect the assets of Pechanga Resort & Casino.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: At least 3 years of casino experience is required/ 5 years preferred to successfully perform this job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. This position also requires the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position also requires the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: N/A

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with internet applications.
• Knowledge of Stratton Warren GUI, or other purchase order system.
• File transfer capabilities.
• Understanding of the creative process and printing industry including printing methods, color formats, digital applications and paper types.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• Understanding of and experience in the creative process of advertising and materials production.
• Ability to manage production systems under urgency of deadline pressure.
• Ability to interface with and control scheduling between graphics designers, project specialists, management and external vendors.
• Ability to interact with team members at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient use of time.
• Ability to perform tasks/daily duties without direct supervision.
• Proofreading and copy writing skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
