Job Title: Warehouse Technician
Department: Warehouse Reports to: Warehouse Shift Supervisor Starting pay rate up to $14.99 per hour; depending on prior experience Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, merchandise and supplies in the warehouse. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-year warehouse experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license (commercial driver’s license preferred) and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. Computer Skills Must have basic PC skills. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. *CB* |
