Clinical Supervisor - Beadle Lake
Job Summary: Provides supervision of clinical staff and performs clerical and administrative duties under the direction of the Site Manager. Provides basic patient care services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and current Certification, Registration or credentialed Medical Assistant within 90 days of hire or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan. BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Prior experience in a physician’s office setting.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan preferred. BLS certification preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of computers, insurance, and medical terminology preferred. Knowledge using Athena and staff training experience preferred. The ability to operate standard office equipment including fax, copier, scanner, and computer. Maintains the standards of care and implements the policies and procedures of Oaklawn. Adheres to regulations and standards of accrediting body. Observes universal precautions and complies with OSHA and MIOSHA standards re: blood borne pathogens and biohazard waste. Demonstrates competency in technical and clinical skills, completes skills checklist, and correctly performs these skills daily as requested.
Working Conditions: Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Potentially exposed to infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements: Constantly see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear, taste/smell. Frequently stand, walk, reach, bend/twist. Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 50+ lbs.
