Department Assistant - Housekeeping
JOB SUMMARY: Supports processes by performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling, organizing and maintaining records, and providing information to callers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years of age.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; performs miscellaneous clerical functions and projects as assigned; strong Microsoft office skills; teamwork; proficient research skills; organization; dependability; independence; confidentiality; basic understanding of personnel functions; well organized; accurate and attentive to detail; ability to support and assist others; additional related training preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is generally sedentary in nature, must be able to work for prolonged periods of time, sitting at a computer, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
