Reports To: Executive Kitchen Steward
Starting pay rate up to $20.44 per hour; depending on prior experience

Summary
Oversees and performs the duties of the Kitchen Stewards.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises the Kitchen Stewards in the Kitchen. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least 2 years related work experience and 1 year in a large multi-unit/high volume food establishment; 1 year supervisory experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must possess a valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card.
Computer Skills

Basic PC skills required.
Other Qualifications
Must have a working knowledge of the stewarding operation or related janitorial experience. Must enjoy direct line supervision and be flexible and patient with employees. Must be a team player, have a positive attitude and present a well-groomed appearance.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; secondary smoke; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
