Job Title: Chip Runner (part-time position)
Department: Card Room Reports To: Poker Shift Supervisor $10.50 per hour plus tips Summary Assists the Card Room floor personnel by being attentive to patron needs and providing superior customer service and contributing to the creation of a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for customers and co-workers. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED required. Other Qualifications Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a pleasant personality. Must be able to handle pressure and difficult situations. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. *CB* |
