Director of RiskJob Summary: Coordinates multiple activities within the Quality Improvement department to improve organizational processes. Facilitates regulatory compliance and ISO certification. Oversees value-based purchasing abstraction functions. Manages risk management activities. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related allied health discipline. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Five (5) years experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with accreditation and Center for Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred. Risk management experience preferred. Experience in PDCA, Lean, FMEA, and RCA tools and processes preferred. Experience in patient safety role preferred. Possesses strong leadership and communication skills. Possesses knowledge of, or experience in, the delivery of patient care needed to perform the duties of the position. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytic problem-solving skills, as well as have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of statistics needed. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform in a self-directed manner within a team-focused framework. Working Conditions: Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
