Job Title: Cage Shift Supervisor
Department: Cage/Vault Reports To: Lead Cage Shift Supervisor Summary Under the direct supervision of the Lead Cage Shift Supervisor, supervises the activities of the cage/vault cashiers. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Cage/Vault Cashier in the Cage/Vault on a given shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; minimum 1-year experience working as a cage cashier. Computer Skills Must have basic PC skills. Other Qualifications Possesses a good knowledge of all slot and poker cage functions. Must have basic math skills including ability to count money, coins and chips accurately. Must be able to get along with co-workers and be a team player. Must be able to work any shift as well as fluctuating window times. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must have excellent customer service skills. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. |
