MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I (APPRENTICE)

Job Title: HVAC Technician I -- swing shift at Casino Arizona
Department: Maintenance
License: 4b
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Starting Pay Rate: $11.85 per hour

Summary
Performs general maintenance duties, as assigned and/or depending on experience/competence, under guidance of preventive maintenance and work orders.

Education and/or Experience
Must possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. 1 year HVAC work experience required; and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and vocational training.

Preferred experience:
*EPA Universal Tech certificate or comparable license
*Low temp repair and maintenance
*Ice machine repair and maintenance
*Electrical control troubleshooting and repair
*Working knowledge of chiller/cooling tower AC systems

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
