Job Title: Slot Technician II
Department: Slots Reports To: Slot Technology Supervisor Summary The Slot Technician II and III positions are responsible for repairing and maintaining gaming machines and systems and providing technical expertise on set-up and configuration of hardware, peripherals and software. Every Technician is to follow all company policies and departmental procedures and is responsible for adhering to State and Tribal compliance based on Compact Standards. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED required for all positions. 1 to 3 years minimum slot technical support experience. Related training, with certifications, preferred. Computer Skills Must have excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Operating Systems, progressive systems, and slot accounting systems. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Must have ability to work with specialized hand tools for installation/repair and occasionally work in tightly confined spaces. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; secondary smoke and risk of electrical shock.
