Audio Visual Technician I

Job Title: Audio Video Technician
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Audio Visual Supervisor
Starting Wage Rate: $15.50 to $25.00 per hour; depending on prior experience


Summary
The AV Technician provides continuous support for all audio video services and works closely with management to support IT and AV projects. Under the direction of the AV Supervisor, duties my include installation, maintenance, repair and removal of all AV equipment. This position provides tier one
support for a variety of Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort AV applications and hardware.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
HS/GED require. One to two years related audio/visual support experience or equivalent combination of formal/vocational education, training and work experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred.

Computer Skills
All Techs must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word. Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows required.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift
and /or move up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work with specialized hand tools for installation/repair and occasionally work in tightly confined spaces when needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; secondary smoke; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
