Card Room (Poker) Shift Supervisor
Job Title: Card Room Shift Supervisor
Department: Card Room/Poker Reports To: Card Room Shift Manager Summary Under the direct supervision of the Card Room Director, ensures excellent customer service and supervises card room personnel working in their respective areas, while preserving the integrity of the games. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages the Poker Floor Person, Tournament Coordinator, Poker Host, Poker Dealer, Chip Runner, Board Person and Timekeeper on a given shift in the Card Room. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a gaming and/or hospitality environment; 2 to 3 years floor and/or dealing experience. Other Qualifications Extensive knowledge of all Class II card games. Dealing and training experience in all varieties of Stud, Hold'em and Omaha preferred. Must be able to work flexible shifts. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. |
