Pool Server at Talking Stick Resort

Job Title: Pool Server (day shift) at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Dining Shift Supervisor or Beverage Supervisor
$8.76 per hour plus tips

Summary
Provides friendly, excellent service to all guests. Serves meals and/or beverages to patrons in dining establishment, lounge, showroom, pool, hotel room or gaming floor, wherever assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; previous serving experience required; related experience in a medium to high volume restaurant strongly preferred. Must be at least 21 years old to server alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handlers Card. Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification a plus.

*Must possess a pleasant personality and have excellent customer service skills. .
*Must be able to operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
*Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow both verbal and written instruction.
*Good verbal and written communication skills required.
*Must be a team player, have a positive attitude and present a well-groomed appearance.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, secondary smoke and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
