Job Summary:  Prepares coffees, lattes, cappuccinos and other specialty beverages and menu food items.

Essential Functions:

• Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives.
• Greet customers and takes orders and receives payments
• Prepares and delivers coffee and non-coffee products in a timely manner
• Practices proper sanitation techniques
• Maintains adequate inventory levels so that supplies can be ordered in a timely manner. 
• Performs routine tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, stocking, and organizing.
• Operates cash register and credit card machine.

Minimum Qualifications:   High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:   Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Two (2) years coffee shop/costumer service experience preferred. Exceptional customer service presence and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:  May have to deal with difficult situations and unhappy customers at times.  May have to work around potentially hazardous objects such as hot liquids, grills, toasters.  Work in a location that, most of the time, is quite hot.

Physical Requirements:   Constantly stand, reach, push/pull, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, talk/hear,  lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs.  Frequently walk, see/visual acuity, stoop/kneel/crouch, taste/smell.   Occasionally lift/carry 25 to 49 lbs.
