Director of QualityJob Summary: The Director of Organizational Excellence is a transformational leader who is accountable to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and ever-changing environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree and five (5) years of related experience. Training or certification in Lean / Six Sigma and Baldrige standards. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred. Strong knowledge of operational work flow analysis and improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma. Ability to function in a participatory management environment in the identification and resolution of problems, development of plans, objectives and strategies. Ability to develop, prioritize, and accomplish multiple goals; strong demonstration of project management discipline and ability to manage competing demands on departmental and personal time and resources. Ability to analyze and evaluate data to drive appropriate decisions/recommendations; and to enhance the information value stream; Ability to teach and coach Quality Improvement methods and disciplines; strong communication and interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism in dealing with physicians and staff at all levels of the organization Working Conditions: Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment.
