Radiology Technologist Part timeJob Summary: Under limited supervision, provides radiological examines for patients. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s Degree in X-ray Technology or related field. Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), and certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of radiological equipment and techniques, radiation safety, anatomy/physiology and disease process and quality control in a Radiology Department. Must demonstrate competency in administration of all contrast media and barium. Incumbent should be skilled in interpersonal relationships, monitoring patient responses, assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands and operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications. Some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain additional specific technical certifications. Working Conditions: May occasionally be exposed to infectious diseases and/or hazardous materials. Frequent exposure to radiation in a controlled protective setting. Physical Requirements: Constantly walk, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, talk/hear. Frequently stand, reach, push/pull, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 50+ lbs. |
