Radiology Student Technologist - MRI
Job Summary: Under the supervision of Certified Technologist, a Radiology Student Technologist can perform the following job functions based on modality.
Essential functions all modalities:
Minimum Qualifications: Must have completed their first year at an accredited School of Radiologic and Imaging Science majoring in MRI and is in good academic standing. BLS Certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of radiological equipment and techniques, radiation safety, anatomy/physiology and disease process and quality control in a Radiology Department.
Working Conditions: May occasionally be exposed to infectious diseases and/or hazardous materials. Frequent exposure to radiation in a controlled protective setting.
Physical Requirements: Constantly walk, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, talk/hear. Frequently stand, reach, push/pull, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 50+ lbs.
