Job Title: Maintenance Technician III (graveyard shift) at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Maintenance License: 4b FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Starting Pay Rate: $17.51 per hour Summary Performs general maintenance duties, as assigned and/or depending on experience/competence, under guidance of preventive maintenance and work orders. Supervisory Responsibilities Occasionally, oversees and mentors the Maintenance Laborer in the Maintenance Department. Education and/or Experience Must possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. Journeyman in 1 or more trades with 5 or more years work experience in a hotel or resort environment required; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate or vocational education diploma required. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; secondary smoke; toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock.
