Scheduler - Pre-Op Teaching Part timeJob Summary: Responsible for scheduling of surgical procedures and related appointments (CT, MRI, ULS, PAT) with minimal supervision. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or an equivalent. One (1) year experience in health care setting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with Windows Operating System, MS Office (Work, Excel, and Outlook) and other clinical applications/database is preferred. Completion of Medical Terminology course in either a college program or independent coursework. Proficient typing skills of 50+ wpm. Knowledge of Practice Management and Word Processing Software. LEAN experience preferred. Excellent communication skills are mandatory with a primary focus on customer service. Working Conditions: General office and Perioperative Services environment. Physical Requirements: Constantly see/visual acuity, talk/hear. Frequently sit, reach, handle/grasp/feel, lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry 25 to 49 lbs. |
