Clinical CoordinatorJob Summary: Has primary accountability for the delivery of high-quality clinical services to hospice patients. Assumes designated administrative oversight responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator and may report to the Chief Nursing Officer for administrative responsibilities. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Must have current, unencumbered license in the State of Michigan. Two (2) years’ experience in an acute care setting. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: At least one year of hospice or other related experience preferred. Demonstrates good clinical skills and leadership abilities. Must have effective interpersonal skills in all areas of communication. Will spend up to 75% of work time in conversation with health care team members and customers. Must be able to work independently and be capable of solving problems with theoretical and practical approaches using good judgment. Must be able to work in a self-directed and collaborative environment. Has a working knowledge of federal and state regulations for hospice. Requires on-call responsibilities. |
